- Provide oral medicine and keeping a track of it. Sometimes medicines and drugs are also given intravenously, if serious condition occurs.
- Helping the patients with their daily needs such as tooth brushing, combing hair, sponge bathing, changing cloths, cleaning the wounded areas, spraying ointment so as to prevent from bed sores
- Maintaining cleanliness in the surrounding areas as well as keeping the toilet clean. They are also responsible for the emptying the catheter bags and cleaning the bed pan at regular intervals of time.
